Short Synopsis
Charlie is a student
filmmaker. Juliet is a hot film geek. Rob is just awesome. Since Charlie is a
wreck when talking to Juliet outside of class, Rob locks the two of them in
their Film-201 classroom for the night. Pop culture is dissected, life is
observed and love spends the night in.
Synopsis
Stuck Like Chuck is a feature length romantic
comedy by student filmmaker, Jerry Cavallaro. The film is a dialogue-heavy
romantic comedy about two college students who find themselves in the awkward
situation of having to spend the night together. Joe Moran plays Charlie, the
aforementioned Chuck, who is a loveable loser that can’t find a way to work up
the courage to ask the girl of his dreams out. After some scheming with Rob,
his slacker roommate played by Patrick McColley, Charlie and Juliet (Jocelyn
DeBoer) find themselves locked in their Film-201 class. Stuck spending the
night together, Charlie and Juliet finally start to open up to each other
through a series of witty conversations. Filled with sharp dialogue, obscure
movie references and indie film clichés, this film was made with both humor and
heart...and for around $2,500.
